Carlos Zorrinho, holds a PhD in Information Management and is a Full Professor in the Management Department at the University of Évora. He has held various academic, parliamentary and governmental positions. From 2014 to 2024, he was a Member of the European Parliament, focusing primarily on energy, digital, environment, and sustainable development issues.

Miguel Fevereiro (National Institute of Agricultural and Veterinary Research – INIAV)

Former Director of the National Reference Laboratories for Animal Health – Strategic Unit for Research and Services in Animal Production and Health (UEISPSA/INIAV).
As Principal Investigator at INIAV, Doctor Miguel Fevereiro perform relevant work both in research and innovation in animal health, as well as in the development and implementation of diagnostic methodologies in the National Reference Laboratories for Animal Health. He is a nationally and internationally recognised virologist and author of a large number of scientific papers and has collaborated in several highly relevant projects in the field of animal health, including extensive work in the area of zoonoses, of which we can emphasise the recent SARS-CoV-2 pandemics.
